wasfishing Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 i think they might be twin piston can't really remember. might be crusing with duy this weekend
ancullen Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 With the corolla rear disk set up on DBA states the same part number for like all corollas for the rear Yeah, all AE80, 82, 90, 92, 93 are the same, but that's no surprise. Then there's a different part number for each subsequent model.
Pure-SX Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 Shane you do realise your stock front rotors are like 7mm thicker then rears. I am not sure if that would cause problems
Pure-SX Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 But after the ae93 the centre hole was increased to 55mm
ancullen Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 Yep - but the later models depth is wrong too.
Pure-SX Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 What to do what to do, because I will definetly need to upgrade the rears also. Who would I be best talking to in regard to the brakes? Might pay to get a professional opinion see what they think.
ancullen Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 I can't think of any custom brake places up here off the top of my head.
Pure-SX Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 Would somewhere like phil kerrs be able to help?
Pure-SX Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 Might have to start calling around. I think getting the RX7 disks would be sweet as to lol. Just gotta figure out what needs to be done.
ancullen Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 I'll see if my supplier can provide complete blanks.
Pure-SX Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 OMFG so f@$king stressing out trying to figure this shit out lol
ancullen Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 If complete blanks (no centre hole) can be supplied, I'd go with RX7 discs. If not, then I'd stick to AE82 front discs on the rear like I suggested.
