Ke70 Crossmeber In A Ae71

Featured Replies

can i really do this can i put a ke70 crossmeber in a ae71

because i have a 3tgte engine with mounts made for a ke but i have a ae71 so how do i make it go in without doing the change of mounts please let me know or msg me can i do it or not really stuck 0430248788

ke70 and ae71 front ends are identical, only one side engine mount is diffrent.

so yes you can swap a ke70 cross member into it. bolts in the same and all.

i belive that if you get a t-18 cross member (3t-c) that a 3tgte would bolt in without custom mounts.

T-18's use a steering box and ae71/ke70 use rack and pinion, You need to get around that aswell.

If you need a KE70 x-member i have 1 but it will be at AE70's ^^^^ house as of this week.

That mean i will have 2 soon.

cut the tabs off of a ke70/ae71 cross member that hold the rack and weld them on the t-18 one, not exactly rocket science...
