Sponge on stick is your friend when it comes to painting hard to reach bits  Doesn't look flash, in fact it looks rather sad, but at least there's paint on it :D

After a whole days work, the dash is finally back in the car. Jigsaw is my friend, dash has been extensively modified to fit  Angle grinder was also useful :D Virtually all the mounting brakets were cut off, so the dash is only held in the car by 6 nuts along the top and 2 bolts on the bottom now. Now I just have to plug all the wires in and put all the screws back in and the car should start. I hope.

Door trims are also back in the car, also taken to extensively with the jigsaw and put back together using race tape. Yay for race tape :)

So what's left to do? Plug wires, put instruments back in and screws, put seats in, and car should be startable! Hoping to finish that tonight.

Wiring finished, instruments in car, engine starts so I'm hoping everything is good. Always a worry when you more or less finish putting the car back together and you still have a whole bunch of assorted bolts, nuts, screws and washers...

All that's left to do as far as the cage goes is to redo one of the door trims (race tape fell apart, should clean door trim before putting on race tape), reinforce the electronics compartment (hose clamps keep sliding down the tube, need something more solid), bolt drivers seat in, bolt drivers side intrusion bar in and then put lots of nice soft foam around. Have finished off passenger side, haha, the seat can't really move forward at all due to the side intrusion bar pressing up so hard against it...
