Slivertop Parts

[my Red Rolla]

Hi all

 

I am new to the corolla ownership, i have a 95 with a 20 valve silvertop in it.

and i am having trouble just finding just the regular spares, just for servicing, let alone any mod work. eg leads, dist cap/rotor, fan belts, timing belt kits.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

How are you searching..? are you looking for 20v silver top or are you looking under ae101 or what ever model they are..?

 

If you really get stuck then your Toyota dealer will be able to get them, genuine Toyota parts are usually superior to most general aftermarket brands as far as quality as conserned.

totally agree, also their parts warranty is solid,and fairly lengthy from memory.

toyota has everything for these motors. A little more expensive though.

Its either Toyota or Japan for these things, the motor came from an ae101 or even some ae111s possibly from what Ive read. Be careful not to end up with an ae111 blacktop timing belt and tensioner because they are far different, ie exta tooth on the belt and hydraulic tensioner.
