Raven Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 So when are you gonna get the sticker "You have just been passed by another fox"? Quote
love ke70 Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 never appreciated a car like that before. but wow, it actually looks bloody nice well done, and as a side note, i cleaned the interior of my ute today, and i even pulled the aircon apart and emptied the nature from it, and glen 20'd the system, so no more mildew with aircon, or baby puke smell everytime i open the door. can we get interior pics of your car? i ahve a feeling its gonna be a schmick as the outside  Quote
SoulSearcher Posted December 2, 2007 Author Report Posted December 2, 2007 interior pics will have to wait until tomorrow, it's dark now  ....I also popped the bonnet and though...nah too late, too hard do it next week.... oh, whilst I was vacuuming, i must've knocked the rear kick panel and it fell off.... it took me a minute to work out how to put it back on, and then the vacuum ran out of time, and I only had this much > < to go so I thought... ah bugger it... :D Lesley  Quote
SoulSearcher Posted December 2, 2007 Author Report Posted December 2, 2007 oh, and I forgot to post this one.... note the shiny exhaust! the mark on the side is rain.... oh, any idea how to get the baffle to shine too?? Quote
SoulSearcher Posted December 2, 2007 Author Report Posted December 2, 2007 oh, and I updated my avatar too  Quote
love ke70 Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 by baffle u mean the actual muffler yes? lots of polish, or get it chrome dipped maybe... or paint it...but that will look dodgy in a month or less I'm guessing Quote
SoulSearcher Posted December 2, 2007 Author Report Posted December 2, 2007 oops, yes the muffler  I tried on the other side with metal polish, but it just kinda smeared and looked crappier.... Quote
SoulSearcher Posted December 2, 2007 Author Report Posted December 2, 2007 the muffler? well, i sprayed on the alloy wheel cleaner, then I put the pre-soak on it, then I high pressure sprayed it, then I soap sprayed it then it dried (so I'm guessing it was pretty clean) and then I attacked it with the metal polish....and it looked crap. OH YEAH!!! I EVEN did under the side skirts!!! that was funny..... Quote
love ke70 Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 maybe it just wasnt meant to be polished? it was never shiny to begin with, so it wont be splendid like your tips. maybe clean with thinners to strip anything off it and try but i don't rate your chances. just get it chromed, or get a stainless one in its place :D Quote
