demuire Posted December 7, 2004 Author Report Posted December 7, 2004 30th Jan. You'll need to book really soon though, places disappear really quickly (I missed out on the last one). I don't have the contact number on me unfortunately, but it might be on the MG Car club website maybe.... Quote

Redwarf Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 I'm convinced your comma and full stop keys are broken. Goodo, I thought you were going to get a 2NS, this would not have let you do hillclimbs. A level 2S is all good. :insane: Quote
trdcamrypride Posted December 8, 2004 Report Posted December 8, 2004 OK sweet yeah there not broken but i am working on getting it right. see ....... ,,,,,,,,,,, they work. Quote
demuire Posted December 8, 2004 Author Report Posted December 8, 2004 (edited) i got a j2s but not untill after chrissy because it was cheaper the hsccq guy rang me and went throung it and yeah he is sending me a checqe for the differende.nice guy he is too Wow, nice work with the spelling too. Here's a few tips: 1) Use that spell checking tool that Teddy pointed out the other day. He used to be waaaaay worse than you (like to the point of not even being able to tell what he was trying to say), but see, he's actually pretty good now. 2) You've got the end-of-sentence full stop mostly right. Now you just need to put the in-between ones in and commas. I'm not an English teacher, and my English isn't perfect, so I'm not going to try to teach you how to do it. But one thing you could do is read your sentence, and where ever you think you might pause, put *something* in there. If it's a short kinda pause, put a comma in. If it's a bigger sort of pause, put a full stop. Chances are one or the other would be correct, so you're at least 50% right. In either case it'll be better than having *nothing* there. For instance, try saying this all in one breath, with no pauses: i got a j2s but not untill after chrissy because it was cheaper the hsccq guy rang me and went throung it and yeah he is sending me a checqe for the differende Did you pause anywhere? Do you think, maybe it would be more correct if you put a full stop after the word "cheaper"? The sentence isn't perfect, but at least with that in there it makes it a lot more understandable... Actually, let's show you what you're doing to us. Try reading this: u got the end of sintence full stop mostly right now u jest need 2 put the in between 1s in n commas I'm not a english teacherr n my engliish isnt purfect so I'm not going 2 try 2 taech u how 2 do it but 1 thing u could do is ried you sintence n whereveru think u migh pause put something in there if its a short kinda pause put a comma in if its a bigger sort of pause put a full stop chances r1 or the other would be correct so ure at least 50% right in either case itllb better than having nothin there. I don't know about you, but if someone wrote that I'd be rather keen on kicking them very hard. Or I just wouldn't bother even reading their post. Or most probably both.
