1) Take one Proton Wira (basically Mitsubishi CC Lancer ala Evo1-3 base)

2) "Drop" in Subaru WRX engine and drivetrain

Considering Evo's are more common in Malaysia than WRX's, and Evo engines and drivetrains almost bolt into a Wira (just need the GSR rear floorpan for the rear drivetrain), WHY would you go to the hassle of this??? Just to be different?

There are rumours of an SR20DET powered Wira as well, as well as a Series 3 RX7 with an SR20DET... How bizzare.

Oh hey look, a website with more hybrids

I think this is run by Meggala from Toymods. Most of them are fairly "common" (datto motors in other dattos), but a few interesting ones...

Isn't that Norbie's? Looks like his house, looks like his car :doublebird:

Well, see an SR20 in a liteace, or a 3SGTE in a PT Cruiser, all of these would require a fair bit of fabrication to get them to fit and work etc, but it wouldn't be any or much more than any other engine you decide to stick in there.

However, putting WRX gear in a Wira, is kinda like... Buying an SR20DET Silvia, and putting a 3SGTE in it. Similar engines in lots of ways, and a lot of work for not much if any gain? Or like buying a BA Falcon and putting a Holden LS1 in it. Like, wha???
