Ke20nut Posted June 13, 2008 Report Posted June 13, 2008 Hi I'm ke20nut and am new to this rolla club. i have a ke10 at home that has a sagged door hinge. Can you get a new one from anywhere or is there a kit to repair the worn bushes in the one i have . i have messed around with a ke20 hinge , but there wasnt much i could door as the bushes were a plastic grade and very fine to replace. please help me thanks Quote

I've heard of people resleaving them with some metal tubing and even welding them up and re-drilling them out but never seem any "new" replacements out there. If you're real keen you could hit the local wrecker and try find something of simularity on a later model, or even different make... there would definately be some grateful ke1x owners if you find a solution, me included. let us know if you come across anything Scott. Everyone hangs shit on me about it. They just don't know what there missing out on. Got my bro hooked also. i just got a email from a guy in QLD who does em with nolathene bushes, I'm keen to give it a shot he is a fitter and turner by trade, ill try him and let you know how it all goes. but ke20s are still better for drifting. ***** love em Quote
