Torrus Posted June 24, 2008 Report Posted June 24, 2008 Can someone tell me if the front brakes on a AE 71 are the same as a KE70 especially the backing plate. Want to use them to convert an old Morris from drum brakes to discs. I know KE70 are easy to adapt. Thanks Quote
tas_ae71 Posted June 24, 2008 Report Posted June 24, 2008 yes they are unless early flat front ke70 is different to later ke70 its all the same gear. exception is the ae71 panel van which had larger brakes (adm sprinter?) Quote

Spot on, all KE70's and AE71's had the same brakes except for the AE71 panel van which as said had the ADM AE86 brakes Quote

Torrus Posted June 24, 2008 Author Report Posted June 24, 2008 :( Thanks to all who answered. I could soon have my old Morrie stopping as quick as a rolla. But it will be a very long while before it goes as fast. Thanks Quote
