Rich_Rolla Posted July 11, 2008 Author Report Posted July 11, 2008 Neat little beast you have :P Plans? I'm sending off for my tax soon (which is $500+). So, Rims with that. Then with my savings... Paint the bumpers to match the car. Exhaust... That's it so far. Quote
200Boy Posted July 11, 2008 Report Posted July 11, 2008 (edited) Don't bother painting the bumpers, just grab some colour coded ones from a wrecker. Cheaper and less effort. Looks clean, good buy :P Also you should buy my struts and rear swaybar. They will transform the car  Edited July 11, 2008 by 200Boy Quote
roladude Posted July 12, 2008 Report Posted July 12, 2008 also buying bumpers from the wreckers the paint should match almost exact are you going to get a mirror for your pass side and then colour code them to. Quote
Johno Posted July 12, 2008 Report Posted July 12, 2008 Looks like a pretty neat car. Color coded bumpers on white cars look really good. How much did you pay for your car? Do you have pictures of the subs? Quote

Do you have pictures of the subs? Nah, I'll grab some in the morning. It's a bit late now. I got the car for $1100 with rego from my aunt. 150,000 on the clock. I am going to get the left mirror once I get down to the wreckers. I also need a window winder for the left door. Also, next weekend I plan to book it in for a 2" exhaust system. She's a very good/clean car with no leaks, rust or mechanical problems. And the fact it's a manual is a bonus. Cheers, Tim. EDIT: I'm planning on picking up some rims with my tax. I'm just wondering if 15's will fit and ride without much hassle? Edited July 12, 2008 by Rich_Rolla Quote
mitch4397 Posted July 12, 2008 Report Posted July 12, 2008 hope ur gettin black rims with chrome dish, they look sex on white AE82's :P Quote
Johno Posted July 13, 2008 Report Posted July 13, 2008 EDIT: I'm planning on picking up some rims with my tax. I'm just wondering if 15's will fit and ride without much hassle? I have 15"s on my car and its not "too" bad... It does rub if i have anyone in the back seat so i just say i can only take one passanger. A few people with ae82's have the same problem so if you roll your gaurds you might be ok. I have no idea about wheel offset and all that. Jus expect the tires might rub a little bit. Quote
