bernieboy Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 I took the rear leaf springs off my newly bought KE26 so I can get them reset. I noticed that there is a Mitsubishi symbol plus some numbers stamped on the top side of each spring. Has anyone come across this before? Pics below. Quote
philbey Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 Could just be a leaf from a mitsi that is the same length etc as the KE20 item. Possibly just been adapted to fit. Quote
KE26 Wagon Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 Just looked under my 26 and they have not stamps on them at all. i will check a set that i have at home tonight and post if i find anything. Quote
Taz_Rx Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 Mitsubishi make a few electrical components that find there way into mazdas toyotas etc from factory.....although I highly doubt leaf springs would be the same case! I reckon Philbey's on the money! Quote

Thatś what my Dad reckons as well. Well its not causing any dramas so I shouldn't worry too much but itś still a mystery to me Quote
Taz_Rx Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 Have you thought of calling mitsubishi and giving them those part numbers? They can probably tell you what they are supposed to be in!! Quote
LINDSAY Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 Thet don't look like mitsubishi part numbers , they are normally 2 letters , 6 digits or some older ones were 7 digits Quote
