ancullen Posted March 15, 2005 Report Share Posted March 15, 2005 Does anyone know where Toyota printed/inscribed the transmission & differential codes on their transmissions & differentials? I've had a (quick) glance under my car to look for them, but due to the level of mud & dirt that has built up there, I'm not sure if I'm looking in the right places. NOTE: This is for a KE55 Corolla. I think it has standard diff (I don't know what code that's meant to be) but I'm not sure what sort of gearbox it has. Any help is appreciated. Check http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Pit/997.../AxleCodes.html to decode it. Transmission codes arnt on there I don't think. Unless its a transaxel?? It should be very easy to tell what type of box it has. If its stock and a 4 speed its a K40. If its 5spd it will be a K50... Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
