rota-70 Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 Hey guys, I'm relatively new to the Rolla's after helping a friend with his KE30 some years ago that we fitted a 2T-G and eventually 3T-GTE into with microtech and such I haven't had much to do with them. I've now got myself a KE70 Panelvan with a 12A-Turbo (I'm a rotorhead anyway) and I need to fit another diff as the last one was supposedly locked but wasn't done properly. I'm wanting to just replace it with an open center but wasn't sure if the Panelvan has a different center to the sedan. if someone can please shed some light on the issue that would be great. styler Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 the brakes are bigger on the panelvan compared to sedan, 228mm compared to 218mm as far as i know? the diff on the panelvan may be an s series last time i looked, plenty of cheap or free s series centres and whole diffs from ae86 drivingclub but the diff probably needs mounts changed over, the centre should bolt straight in.
