  2. It's "13" Got shallow combustion chambers, just resurfaced no excessive skimming/decking from what I can see. From my k knowledge its application would be short stroke 3k std bore high comp 12:1 static big race cam approx 300 deg so dynamic compression ends up the required 8.5:1 approx with a mandatory extensive combustion chamber reshaping (removal of material) to lower the compression down from what would have been 14:1 static before and deshroud bigger valves if used. Additional compression lowering adjustments would be in a slightly thicker headgasket. Powerband 3000-8000rpm. That's my understanding of it , either use in a std 5k with the std 5k dished pistons or modify to suit a 3k with std flat top pistons. No excessive overbore in the 3k as it would raise the compression too much. The only concern is piston to valve clearance in the 3k application with a big cam which could be addressed with piston valve reliefs, they would also help to lower compression just have to check your piston crown thickness to see if they suit. Could be the go for your setup but it's gonna be a very lumpy cam with high rpm and top end hp. This is where you start to need a close ratio gearbox so you don't drop out of band on shifts but can be used with a std gearbox just might be a bit slower due to the predicted dropping out of band between shifts. That's my thoughts anyway as far as this head application goes in the k motor world...

  8. Sorry actually sold the interior and the guy never paid up which was a bit rough. The plan was to make 4 door cards and a rear seat panel out of an aluminum sheet and paint em black for quick removal if needed but never got to it.

Comes with brand new saas adr bucket seats fully fitted and 4 point clip in harnesses which were about a grand. No rego or roady but was registered before doing work on it.

Windscreen needs replacement but they are cheap and easy to swap out, maybe a few other small issues for a car of that age but you wont find many in this condition and care. I would rather not sell and complete this car but have other cars to complete. This car has much the same base as an AE86 and so many aftermarket parts can be used to upgrade this car including motor, gearbox, suspension, brakes and diff sometimes with small modifications to suit. Also engine conversion and gearbox kits are available for a few other motors. This is a very light car at approx 900kg, rear wheel drive, easy to work on and simple. Parts are cheap and it is easy to build this into what you want. Very difficult to buy any recent cars that are the right platform to build something up like this.   14. Don't worry about the rears, do the fronts first if not done already... and then rears are almost just for drift hydro handbrake antics. Would suggest to convert to ae86 front setup first with brake upgrade for ae86 and then later do t series diff conversion which allows lsd options and drum to disc options... Suspension options also open up with ae86 fronts / t series rear end for more performance...

Nice to see the updates rolling in :) With the oil temps you want to keep it hot enough burn off the water so above 100 deg c really but once you hit around 120 deg c it seems you start to degrade the oil. Keep in mind these would be sender/gauge temps and the oil would vary in temp internally, ie be a lot hotter say 130 deg or more in some places. I think you also have to consider the viscosity and oil quality as well as thicker oil and better quality may allow higher readings but 120 deg c gauge should be a good upper limit to start with. There are a lot a articles on aircraft engines discussing oil temps, there was a graph that every 10 deg c over the specified upper limit degrades the oil life in half which was interesting...
