  1. Hi there could you send me an email of what you need exactly for corolla ke20/ke25 on [email protected]

  2. Transmision i.e t50 fitted perfect fit without any cutting or hammering. It was made to fit it. I was told that a certain type of t50 but does not fit due to different confing i think from the starter.
  3. So a small up date on the car, cut the part were the pro shaft literally was touching the car due to lowering a lot the car and made a new panel little higher that the original so that it does not touch the car. Really happy how it turned out. Next step is to grind the access welding hammer the panel from underneath and and add a new panel to cover the differential bell housing.
  4. Turned the car the other way round to continue the other side of the car. Started by removing old paint from the bonnet and i the result is a perfect bonnet for a 43 year old one!
  5. From time to time will will find those but not so common due to the fact that Malta is small and every one knows each other like so will know what other peoples history.. Maltese people really like cars and the restoring business of cars in these 5 years boomed. The old cars have a special scheme which 30 years over cars are named as classics and only pay 15 aud for road tax and around 150 aud for road tax roughly for a whole year and can only be driven 500 miles. That is good enough for a ride or two each month. So this helped the restoring business a lot.
  6. It is an mgb ready from paint. Next in line vw ghia
  7. He told you thanks. So Continued a little bit more work on the car. My neighbor cut and moved the part were the tyre was touching with the body.
  8. Continued rear end today by installing the rear shocks. Bought a pair of spax adjustable Krypton gas pressurized shocks. Lengths of the shocks are rear with closed length 261.25mm open length 385.25mm. They are slightly narrower than the original ones from top and bottom. Had to do some washers to get the gap distance but worked perfect.
  9. Do not know if i understood you correctly but are you looking for these? http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-BRACKET-FENDER-FOR-HOOD-BUMPER-TOYOTA-COROLLA-KE20-KE25-KE26-TE27-TE25-TE28-/152362214826?hash=item23797ee5aa:g:7H4AAOSw6DtYV-JA&vxp=mtr
  10. So continued a little work on the car. Leaves are ready and tried them on the car. i installed a temporary wooden block just to see what size i would suite best for my car and buy or cast the blocks. Had to do 2.5 inch block for the car to be good height. Car still needs glass petrol tank seats etc sow will lower a little more. As for the diff i changed my mind and going for a standard one. The bigger diff, had a off set in the diff housing from factory no center like the original one longer which needed shortening and converting the hand break setup which was going to be a lot of time consuming and money wise. Previous owner had told me that the 3k standard diff was a strong diff for its small size. The car will not be driven hard only just for Sunday rides that is why i am gong to take the chance. In the mean time i have to make some more body space for the prop shaft. The shaft needs to be shortened a little as well due to change of engine that is being done at my local engineer shop. As for the rear shock i had once found on the internet that camaro shock are shorter and few modifications to fit on the ke. Has any one done this? http://www.ebay.com/itm/232183190630?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Thanks.
  11. But wouldnt that be more stress on the turrets and mare chance the tyre will hit the body?
  12. I reverd the leaves just to see the car lowered. It will no stay like that..
  13. Yes thats what i am going to do to the springs hopefully by end of this week they will be ready and try them on the car. Due to differnet dimensions on the diff i had to cut the brackets and will have to do new ones and 99% which i will fabricate and will simulate at the same time lowering blocks.
  14. Started on the back end. Installed two rims with tyres and placed diff on the car to see how they fit. Originally i was going for a standard diff (the one that came the car with with a 3k engine) but the decided to go a little bigger due to chance of bigger engine and bigger tyres and did not want to finish the car and get back working on it. Dif came out of a corona and has to shortened around 5cm on left side. Had to make some room for the diff so there will be more room. In the mean time took the leaf to a guy here which is going to lower them the lowest possible and see how that turns out on the car. After fighting in and machining diff will go to blasting! Test fit on the old diff with revers leaf springs.
  15. How did you get the back lowerd like that?
