Hey friends, Looking to see what offers are made for my 2Door 1975 KE30 Corolla The car has been sitting in the garage for quite a few years now as I planned to have it restored. Unfortunately, I have not gotten around to it and am now considering selling if I receive a reasonable offer. The photos in this ad are old however the condition of the car is still similar to the photos. There is a couple of rust spots that need attention and a dent to the body that can all be resolved with the know-how. All in all condition of the car is really quite good. The engine was running great and did not have any issues when I was driving it a few years ago but it has sat around for a few years now. The car has always been reliable and great to drive. This was my first car and I have no strong desire to sell, if the right offer came along I would consider selling due to needing the money for other things. I would like to pass this rare Corolla on to someone with the passion to restore it. You do not see 2 door KE30s around anymore and I don't know if there are any more of these left in SA (it might be the only 1975 KE30 left in Aus).

Hey guys Just wondering if anyone knows where to get new Stock front shocks for a ke55 Sedan, I tried lots of shops around Sydney they all offer the Monroe-matic Plus part number 805014MM but they did not fit in the inserts unfortunately they were too long and thinner and original shocks, any help would be appreciated, the original shocks had a part number MG991 but Monroe told me they were discontinued. thank you Tony

Hi all , Iâve recently bought an old KE70 wagon that Iâm wanting to restore, Iâve noticed under the bonnet thereâs a sticker saying that the car can contain asbestos, I know that older cars has asbestos in the brake pads, clutches and some seals, Iâm just wondering what else contains asbestos in the car? Does the interior insulation or car underbody coating contain asbestos? any help or information would be appreciated Shane

my dads 88 ae82 se 1.6 (4ac engine) now now before i get roasted and get told to get rid of it here's the story i only ever liked old corollas up to the ae86 and then my father got this stock ae82 he kept it well serviced always kept it in great condition the only mod's he did was change the steering wheel and put a free flowing exhaust on (don't know why) i didn't really like it. it was slow and i was used to my v8vf but unfortunately he passed away last year leaving me this car. i immediately changed my tune and started loving it. it was my fathers last car. i (and some will say stupidly) sold my v8 and now drive this everywhere. no one can bag me out for it now because it has sentimental value and ive changed my opinion i love 80's corolla's as well now! haha so um one of my questions is what can i do to slightly mod/improve this car while keeping it as original like my father had it as possible. k thx adrian I'm in australia birsbane

Hey team need some help tried looking all over the net and can't find what i need, Currently trying to install my speedo cluster into my 1981 AE70 sedan but have a slight problem. There is ment to be 3 connector plugs leaving the loom into the back of the dash like the first photo. In my car i have 2 of the 3 plugs but where i should have the 3rd one i have two smaller ones that don't fit in any kind of way and have me all confused on why they are there and what they would have been for(see second photo). Any ideas on how to fix would be awesome or if anyone has any type of wire diagram so i could try wire in a normal plug Cheers

Hi I'm new to this page and am wondering if anyone can tell me if corolla and corona share the same suspension layout, wanting to put coilovers in my 86 corona WAGON but having trouble finding anything, alot of corolla suspension is available so I'm wondering if they are similar, would I need to swop control arms etc or would the coilovers bolt in to my existing hubs/control arms, or is it not possible at all. Any help/advice would be much appreciated thanks!

Hey everyone, Just a question has anyone got a go to place/site for their carby needs for their KE10? I'm looking at one on Mikes Carburetor parts and I'm seeing if anyone has used it before and if its any good. I have had some issues with my carby, I think the accelerator pump has one to heaven thus causing a flat spot/stumble/hesitation. If not does anyone has any good recommendations? I'm not sure if its allowed but ill post the link so you can see whats in the kit. http://www.carburetor-parts.com/Toyota-Carburetor-Kit_p_4426.html Once again, hopefully this can be answered which will give other members a great place to check and provide them with the information they are looking for. Regards Fallen1

Okay, quick question. I know the K50 comes in two variants as far as I know (one with the shifter located more forward and the other further back) I'm looking for a 5 speed box that will suit a KE38 with a 4K engine and bolt straight in. I've found one out of a KE70, will this fit in or do I need one from a different series corolla? Cheers!

Hey Everyone, I have been meandering through previous threads and come across a general opinion. A lot of advice on suspension setup for these KE1x is geared/directed towards "high performance". I'm wondering if there is straight swaps for the struts on the front and rear that wont lower, raise stiffen etc the ride but rather keep it as intended by Toyota. I'm in the process of lookin at struts and the only ones i seem to be able to find are Pedders. (listed below) Front Shocks 8778 Pedders Cartridge Rear Shock 8032 Pedders Shock Absorber Rear Shackle Bushes / Kits EP8118 KIT REAR SPRING REAR EYE & SHACKLE I was quoted 560 just in parts, which seems a bit excessive. does anyone know of a better alternative? Regards F1

Hello rolla fans, my name is Nick, i'm 30 years old and i'm from Greece. For few weeks now I'm proud owner of a Corolla KE70. Because i'm working full season I brought the car but I haven't see it or touch it yet (because i'm working in a island) so my best friend did all the papers etc and have it on his garage. The plan on this beauty going for Drift Project but for now i'm trying to fix it. Off topic : Because the rear wheels has more offset than the front I heard that you can add fenders from Golf MK1 is that true and if yes from the front or from the rear? Thanks Nick.

Hi Guys, new to this forum. Thanks for having me. I'm moving from Qld to Syd and will bring across my KE30. Currently on full Qld rego. The car is modified with a 5K motor, K50 gearbox and diff to suit. Everything else standard. It has been engineered in Qld to be registered. However, I will need to do this again in NSW. I would like to register the car under modified historic registration with the club once in NSW. Can anyone tell me what I will need to do to have the car ready for historic rego and estimate of cost involved? Thanks in advance.

Hey guys, I want to convert ke20 stock 1200cc engine to 5k liteace 1500cc engine. Can you list things that I supposed to retrieve and do to my ride. Well I already found the 5k 1500cc engine but its not a halfcut... Just an engine with sort of wire with it... Is this a perfect engine to do convertion on my KE20? Or do I need to add some more to make it perfect? I want to make my KE20 more silence and reliable car with efficient fuel consume... BTW, I found this engine but I haven't buy it yet because I want to learn about it and preventing from overusing my money on something that doesn't really necessary to buy... Help me to do the "list to do" guys... Need your help so much... TQ rollaclub.com

Hi guys, I'm continuing to further modify my ke10 and have reached the stage of rim fitment. I'm after an aggressive stance and refuse to believe that 14x6 is the biggest I can go. I'm currently looking at a few options...a 15x8 +0 rear and a 15x7 +10 front. Or 14x7.5 -7 Is there anybody out there who's seen or done something similar.... Any help is appreciatedâș

Hi all, This is my first post and I'm kinda new around here but I thought I'd start documenting my 1981 Toyota Corolla Ke70 build and everything else that comes along with it :wasted: So i bought my little poo brown corolla about a month or two down in Gosford (I live in Sydney) with around 69XXX genuine kms on it off some dude looking like dis, high in the air, but on stock steelies: It was in pretty good condition bar a few dings, had close to no rust, deep dish steering wheel, new alloy radiator and started and ran! Had a pretty dodgy drive back home as the thing pretty much didnt have brakes  I wish I took photos of them but it was metal on metal and looked like it had been that way for a long while... Anyway got her home and did a few things like changed the sludge (oil) in the old 4K motor, did all new pads, shoes, drums etc, the rear shocks were blown so I put some cheap shit ones in to get me through, cut 2 coils out of each of the springs for dope appeal, a AJPS adjustable panhard rod and put some 13x7" shoes on her and thats how she sits up until today: Lovin the roof racks and the granny spec louvre :lovin: After installing the Ae71 Tacho Dash, I cut the dash and centre console to fit 3 52mm gauges (which I haven't gotten around to buying yet... no real point) a double din touch screen Head deck. Also installed some 4inch speakers in the front and 6x9inch speakers in the rear. Purple Haze (Y) I decided i would focus on the suspension and brake work first while i find, buy and build an engine. so i started buying and saving a fairly long list of parts so i could put everything in in one go as it is my daily driver so..... (HOPEFULLY NEXT WEEK!) Anyway, heres what I've bought suspension wise so far: Suspension Parts List Weld on Coilover Sleve Kit (AJPS I believe) Cusco Camber Tops 8kg coils Bilstien dampers Ae86 Hubs and Vented and slotted rotors JDM Ae86 Callipers rebuild with all new seals and pots Braided lines XT130 LCA rebuilt with superpro bushes and new balljoints Ae86 P/S knuckles AJPS RCA's Hardrace Castor Arms TRD Ae86 18mm Rear Swaybar SRI front Strut Brace AJPS tie rod ends, rack rends, rack boots, lock spacer Every front end Superpro bush 6kg Rear coils BC racing rear spring seats (Eventually) Bilstien dampers in the rear All this shit is waiting ready to go and i can't wait to post again with some actual build photos and progress! :rocknroll:

I've owned my KE30 for some time now and I've noticed it burns a whole lot of oil, I've been filling it with some 10w-30 Maybe that is too thin? I'm thinking of doing a oilchange on it soon and I would like your opinion on what oil to use. Thanks :)

Hey Guys, just wondering if any of you have done any coil-over/suspension upgrades in your KE30/35's that are recommended. Also wondering what amount of work would need doing putting in AE 82/92/86/101/111 coils in a KE35 as I am interested in upgrading handling and lowering the car. Thanks All.
