Hey fellas, i have finally got my ke55sr near complete but running. I took it for a drive and drives well but there is a constant whirring sound when i am idling with the clutch disengaged. I have removed the clutch rod from the pedal and noise is still there. When i depress the pedal the noise goes away. Not sure whether the thrust bearing is still touching the fingers or if it could be the gearbox input bearing. Anybody else had this issue?? Cheers

Hey fellas, wondering what you guys have used as a clutch master cylinder in an Sr conversion in ke55. It's a pretty tight space so I can't use the standard Sr clutch master as it will stick out way past the intake mani. Have heard about the ta22 but not sure dimensions and compatibility. Cheers

Hey fellas, I'm about to install my clutch master in the KE55. I purchased an S13 clutch master and going to be mounting to standard ke55 manual pedal. Does anybody know the best way of measuring and positioning or has anybody done this before and have a drill template?? Cheers

Hello, Trying to figure out what clutch i have without removing the clutch itself. So i can find a replacement for when the time comes to replace it. I know it has an xtreme clutch P.N CTY 22011 HD. This is handy if i wanted to replace it with a xtreme clutch, but i want an exedy heavy duty. I have rang and emailed xtreme to find out what clutch i have from what car but they don't want to give me the info they just want me to but another clutch. I have rang exedy and they don't seem to under stand i have a rwd 4agze and the conversation seems to go no where. So that is my problem This is all the info i have on the car ATM, its an ae71 with a 4agze from a ae92 with a t40 gearbox. Old clutch P.N CTY 22011 HD. And i know its different to my 4age with a t50. Does anyone have the answer for me please.

Hi all, I have a 1979 ke55 corolla sedan with a 4k motor. My clutch recently burnt out, at the worst time (330am whilst heading into town to pick up the missus), anyways I have a clutch on the way and I have no idea how to change it out, I managed to order a gregory manual for the ke55 to come with the clutch kit, just seeing if I could get some help and advice from here. Like what tools will I need, what fluids should I buy before I start etc. Also if people have good knowledge of how to do it, a step by step guide would be awesome! Cheers people, looking forward to the help

Can some one measure the length of the push rod between the slave and the clutch fork on an AE71? I bought a new one as I didn't have one with the manual conversion I bought. Thanks

Hi, I'm currently under going the 4age conversion in my t18 and I'm going to replace the clutch before it goes in the car. It is a daily driver but it gets a good thrashing every so often. I have never ruined a clutch in any of my cars before. so is it worth putting a standard clutch back in or should i upgrade, if so what brand/type? Thanks!
