ancullen Posted April 10, 2005 Author Report Posted April 10, 2005 Welcome Bill. It's excellent to have you aboard. Out of curiousity, how many projects do you have running at present? Has the V8 been put on the backburner? It's just that on racingstrong.com, you've got the Toystar, the RS-GT, the Krylon Special Lite, and RS-GT4 all listed as being improved soon. How close is the V8 to being finished? Quote
Bill Strong Posted April 11, 2005 Report Posted April 11, 2005 IU currently have about a gazillion projects :D Actually just 2 right now that are being worked on. The Toystar V8 MR2 and the RSGT MK1.5 My main website is so out of date. I will be working on it soon. The V8 MR2 is on hold while I save my money. I am currently getting ready to build a new house on some land we own (where my shop is) and selling my current home. So my wife will have me doing fix it crap. I have everything to put the engine together. But I do kot want to have the rings sitting inside the engine in Virginia for too long. We have pretty high humidity here. So the engine will be the last thing put together. Gotta redo the suspension. Mt 3sgte MK1.5 is my current street legal car. I blew it up at a track day, so gotta get it moving again. kinda sucks to run the largest MR2 club on earth and not have a working MR2... Quote
Bill Strong Posted April 11, 2005 Report Posted April 11, 2005 Don't worry. My wife also worried about my safety.. or that I am well insured!. This is a learning proccess for me. I have built kit-cras, but nothing from the ground up. It has been frustrating, but also fun as hell. Quote
Super Jamie Posted April 11, 2005 Report Posted April 11, 2005 seriously, this thing is going to pick up the front end isn't it? :D Quote

Yeah but once you've got about the coolest collection of MR2's I've ever heard of. Who cares if they currently work or not, you've still got excellent bragging rights. You just need to neglect to mention their current state of workingness. :D Quote
