December 12, 200817 yr comment_297272 ok recieved this in the mail today its a bosch ignitor 9 222 067 021 it has 4 prongs, one with 3 above it one with 7 above it and one with 15 above it and one with 16 above it where do i connect these prongs too, is it 2 to dizzy and 2 to coil, if so which prongs go where? edit - found it http://www.austarion.com/tech/BoschIgnitio...eConversion.pdf so if you need it that will tell you. 2nd edit - actually, so does 3 go to neg side of dizzy and 7 go to pos, then 15 goes to pos side of coil and 16 goes to neg? and how do i know which side of dizzy is pos or neg? as it doesnt say? just has 2 wires coming out of it and where do i put the 2 vacuum spots on the dizzy as original dizzy only has one vacuum spot. 3rd - i did it today, used the 4ac wiring diagram in the faq but now the tacho jumps everywhere under 3000 rpm? how can i fix that? Cheers. Trav Edited December 18, 200817 yr by Xany Report
December 13, 200817 yr Author comment_297584 haha, its not the tacho, i have a feeling its cause i took off the ballast resistor so its giving it 12v continusely to tach, then when you go over 3000 your giving it more electricity than what it gets at idle kinda thing so it works but yea, trev said theres a variable resistor i can get for em, just have to find out where cheers Travis Report
December 13, 200817 yr comment_297616 ballast resistor or not, shouldnt affect the tacho. I had the same tacho on a hilux 22r motor (electronic ignition, no ballast) KE25 (points, ballast resistor) my WB One Tonner (HEI, no ballast resistor) and for a short time my ke30 (points, ballast resistor). I have a feeling theres something not right with the signal its getting. Report
