Car Stalling, And No Oil Pressure

hey guys

 

ive got a ke70 with a 4k, 4 speed manual in it

 

my problem is that it has been having for a couple of weeks is that on warm idle the oil light comes on, so when this happens i just pull the choke out a little bit, but the problem that ive been having today, is approaching lights, or to a stop, is that it stalls when i put the clutch in.

 

seems to do it when the cars warm but possibly when its cold aswell, also its missing a tiny bit.

put an oil pressure gauge on it, I'm guessing its got bugger all oil pressure and its starting to create large dramas.

 

how olds the oil and how much oil has it got?

yeah i agree i reckon no oil or ya oil pump is shagged.but have you checked the oil?

any vacuum leaks? or maybe ur timings out, revs too low, or maybe even ur oil pick up has fallen off like my rolla did and killed itself :bash:

Got/had the exact same problem, except mine decided it would do it on the night of the bendigo show demo :bash:

So got it home pulled out the old oil pump, got a spare pump and put 2 small washers in behind the spring to raise the oil pressure that little bit more, (theres a how to do in the FAQ) and it stopped doing it.
