Ive just been reamed by a company in the bathurst/orange area who shall remain nameless. Basically, they promised me a better pay than i was on and steady, fulltime work in the security industry. So i moved my whole life 200kms west of where i was living, and quit my secure job, to work for this company. Now after 6 weeks of work, my position has evaporated and I'm out of a job.

 

I'm after a security/bouncer/customer service/retail sales job in the orange/lithgow/bathurst area. I also have experience in toolmaking (machining and fabricating) and , obviously being on here, a pretty health knowledge/intrest in cars.

Have you checked the classifieds in the local paper? I've seen a couple of security jobs going in the last few weeks.

Don't worry, I know how you feel, similar thing happened last year when I was in Wollongong, 6hrs away from Robert.

I havent as yet, i know that the company i was just working for actually has some jobs advertised at the mines but coz of the mines stupid new travel rules (can't live more than 40mins from work) i can't have those jobs. Gonna check out the saturday and tues day papers tho.
