Well, today it was time to

a) Spend some more money

b) do something to the Ke20

c) continue down my path of being dodgie with a good outcome.

So, we put all those together, and you come up "fixing the cracks in the ke20's dash!"

Let the pictures do the talking.

Oh btw, the stuff i used is 4x sticks of hot glue gun :P

Enjoy!

i used cardboard underneath the dash section i was gona cover up; and gaffed it on. Basically so i could fill up this area, and glue wouldnt stick to underneath dash.

Used a lil hot glue to attach it all.

you can see the cardboard underlay bit better in this one. Yes, the dash does look like apple crumble btw

Edit : all the black cord is there to re-align the dash as it was shaped like a skate board rink. Its now flat :P

heheh thanks :P

I'm just up here for a second, as i type this the dashboard is COVERED in protective gluey substance from a can....not sure what its called tho. After i have done that, I'm going to give it a light sand (the entire thing); then go searching for my vinal roles... hmmm....

Upolstry isnt too hard... i mean ive got 0% qualifications, and i have managed to

- Re colour an entire ke70's insides

- Make new door cards

- Fiberglass a custom console up for the 70.... nearly done !

- Complete custom boot on the 70

- latest project this dash..

if i can do it, any one can ! - you just need time and ability to see past the crappy not so good loooking stadges; and not looze your cool.

This took me 4 hours to do, so it does take up chunks of your day !

wow, that's really cool :P

how hard is it to get the dash in and out of the car? it looks like there's screws you'd need the windscreen out to get to

how did you go about removing all the black covering from the pad? or was yours already like that?
