Removal Of The Ignition Barrel From Ke35?

a few days ago some lovely people broke into my ke35, and broke off a drill piece in the ignition barrel in my ke35 does anyone know how to get the barrel out so I can replace it?

sad to hear about that. i don't know how to pull it out tho. i know how things can seem easy but arent really.

This is actually dead easy. Remove the plastic surrounding the ignition barrel, wiper switch etc. Remove the steering wheel. You will see a small hole facing towards the drivers seat in the ignition barrels housing about 1/2 cm from the end. Place something that will fit in the hole. Give it a firm tap with a hammer. The pin that holds the barrel in should be pushed into the lock, which should now slide out with little effort.
