Does anybody know the size of 2tg valves both inlet and exhaust???

 

i need new ones for my head so i can bolt it back on my car :hammer:

I'll have another look for MY GOD DAMNED HOMOLOGATION PAPERS which I've unsuccessfully been looking for for about three weeks, and it'll give me the good oil. Which head is it? (Last three digits of the part number on the front.)

At least two sorts, possibly three. 88260, 261, 262. :hammer:

could you throw the sizes at me anyway please bud so that when i check the head(i don't have it with me atm) i can just order and pay for them

I'll have another look in the morning. I really MUST find these papers. Both sets are missing, which probably means they're both in the one place.

2T-G engine

Intake valve head diameter => 43mm (44.5mm from April 1973)

Exhaust valve head diameter => 37mm (38.5mm from April 1973)

 

and from Styler always a reliable technical source

 

220 - smaller valve, 248 cams, 9.8 or 9.2 compression, single springs

222 - big valve, 256 cams, 8.8 compression, single springs

260 - big valve, cams ??, 9.8 or 8.4 or 8.7 compression, double springs

261 - big valve, cams ??, 8.3 or 8.4 compression, double springs

262 - big valve, reinforced, 256 or 244 or 240 cams, double springs

Might have to duck out to the shed for a poke at mine

i found out BRD racing want $299 + 38 bucks postage for new valves
