April 21, 200917 yr comment_338184 So what are the other differences between 1st and 2nd gen silvertops?? I ask this as I am currently installing a 2nd gen and just curious?? :P So it's got the single throttle linkage as opposed to the two? From what I've heard the second-gen intake manifold is a bit better, and the mid-range is better as well, but that could be in ECU tune more than anything else (same reason with the difference between AE102 and AE112 7AFEs) Report
April 21, 200917 yr comment_338270 Didn't think there were two blacktop generations (assuming you are referring to the 20v). Nope, the original 4age. Basically it was just a 4a-c with a twin cam head From the Billzilla site - Very early big port TVIS 16 valve, with black lettering & 6-bolts holding the flywheel on. http://www.billzilla.org/4agstock.htm There's also talk about it on www.club4ag.com but might have to do a bit of digging cause it was a good while back Report
April 21, 200917 yr comment_338284 O wow that one would definately not be high revving if its usuing the 4ac bottom end!! Sounds a bit iffy, what models did it come out in? Travis Report
