78_7kRolla Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 Spotted this on Brunswick Rd in Brunswick this arvo. Had some rust that needs to be cut out. Good buy but only for $1000 - $1500. Enjoy. Quote
parrot Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 Is that a $7000 price tag in the window?! Quote
dfunkt Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 Matt, do you have any idea how rare they are?? While 7k is probably a bit OTT, if you offered him $1500 and he spat in your face, you should feel honoured that he didn't kick you in the nuts then key your car as well. Quote

I know i don't see many of them but i have no idea how rare they are. Really if i was buying it i wouldn't care either as it just looks cool! I'd pay on condition, and as it is in a far from roadworthy condition there is no way he'll get anywhere above 2 grand. Also Tate, what engines did these have and what is the model designation? Thanks mate. Quote
dfunkt Posted June 15, 2009 Report Posted June 15, 2009 RT46 is the model, engine is a (powerhouse) 2R. the one you snapped has aftermarket taillights, most likely cos he didn't want to look long and hard for some original ones. Quote

Thanks champ, time to do some research on these beasts! I thought the tail lights looked a tad generic, also this one has a white vinyl roof. Edited June 15, 2009 by 78_7kRolla Quote
