ae71piggie Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 hey guys just got my car up and running was running ok till the alternator shit itself low and behold i pik one up for $25 lol yay but the battery died we charge it and its fine but the thing is its seems as if the carby is not getting fuel when i try n start it i have to wind the car over for about 30 seconds till it eventually kicks over? would that be fuel not getting into the carby or not running rich enuff? I'm not sure any help would be good! ae pig Quote

bLinded_ Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 ^^ +1 My sisters old KE55/30/something is like that. 3 full pumps of the pedal, hold it flat then turn the key. Starts like a dream. However, if you don't pump it at all, it will just sit there cranking over aimlessly. Quote
