4k Parts To A 5k

Hi all,

 

I am sending in my corolla to have a new 5K fitted today and I need to know whether all the parts fit from a 4K to a 5K. Apparently the alternator, starter ect... is the same but is the inlet and exhaust manifolds the same and will the carbi suit? any help would be appreciated as I am buying a bare 5K.

Yes everything you need to make the 5k run can be swapped over from the 4k.

although carb might be on the lean side?

 

Also, if its a KE10, the two cast reinforcing brackets that run from the lower half of the bell housing to the bottom of the block will foul the steering drag link.
