thimio38 Posted August 3, 2009 Report Posted August 3, 2009 hey guys. i put a new panhard rod in my ke70 yesterday... and it pulled my diff to the left alot more than it should have. If anyone knows why this happened or how to fix it plz let me know.. Quote
nickyboy Posted August 3, 2009 Report Posted August 3, 2009 what did you get the panhard rod from? by the sounds of it its to short? is the car lowered at all? Quote
MYSTIK[RL] Posted August 3, 2009 Report Posted August 3, 2009 left, as in passenger side? is the car lowered my experience here is based on early commodores, but it sounds as if its to long (not sure which way they run in e7) nickyboy, from my understanding if its to short it should be pulling the diff towards the drivers side of the car(if I'm wrong please correct me) :hmm: Quote
thimio38 Posted August 3, 2009 Author Report Posted August 3, 2009 yehh its pulled it to far to the passengers side.. and yess the car is lowered? does that have any effect on it? Quote
Jesseb369 Posted August 5, 2009 Report Posted August 5, 2009 Sounds like its too long? Whats it off? and what length is it aswel? compared to the standard panhard rod. Quote
LukeAE71 Posted August 5, 2009 Report Posted August 5, 2009 They run to the left on a KE, sounds like it is too long. Is it adjustable?? Sounds like you need it to be :hmm: I am hoping it is from the same model :) Quote

love ke70 Posted August 5, 2009 Report Posted August 5, 2009 yeah, to the passenger side would be panhard too long. why did you replace. what is the replacement how much difference in length is there between the two? there are two solutions, get a panhard the right length, or lift the suspension, lengthening the long side of the triangle to centre the diff... Quote
OniBerserker Posted August 5, 2009 Report Posted August 5, 2009 so I'm assuming that you put a new stock panhard rod into your lowered ke70? typically you buy a adjustable panhard rod to center the diff after you lower it. Quote
