Hey all, i am currently doing a 4AGZE (Turbo) engine conversion into my AE71, now i am really thinking about rebuilding the motor and then i thought that i might put a 20Valve head on it.....

 

why o why do i have these out there spur of the moment ideas? :jamie:

 

Any way i would just like to hear from a few people that have done it and is it much trouble, ie water, cooling, coilpacks etc etc

put the 20v head, need dizzy cover, rwd water system, work out something with quad/airbox

 

check out lukes ae71 think it had a list of what stuff cost i think that not really worth it unless your going black top, would just get a bigport head ported and polished

Oh yeah i thought about just getting the bigport head ported polished but thats what lead me to 20Valve head....

 

i could get the Bigport head ported n polished and through some Quads on it?

if your going turbo don't go quads, alot harder to tune and you going to run in to big problems with the airbox hitting the master cylinder

 

just get bigport, port and polish and get a aftermarket manifold made with big throttle body

oh, ok i didn't know that, there ya go you learn something every day! i have looked into custom intake plenums and not alot of places make em for the 4A motor.
