The angles in the front bars (where it comes down the A pillar) don't look too crash hot, any reason you chose to have it made that way?

Looks like a Cusco prefab bolt-in. Some people value their dash more than others. I've never seen one in a roll over accident so I can't really comment on their effectiveness but its gotta be better than nothing at all.

I don't doubt that it would offer some form of protection (as you say, something is better then nothing) but just found the design a bit strange.

I am not usually a fan of this model of Corolla but I like this
