Hey guys, this is my AE92 corolla. Had it for about a year or just over now. Its a real beast, never had any major mechanical problems with it at all.

 

Stocko engine. Also am keen on lowering it but not sure how i should go about it. any susggestions? coilovers? king springs etc?

hey nice ae92 mate my missus has a red one and i put pedders comfort gas shocks all round with low king springs and it handles awesome! it does scrape over every speed bump tho

those are 17' rims yeah? how did you get them to fit? any rubbing issues at all?

hey man sweet looking rolla:) i put in super lows in my ae93sx and dosent scrape at all even with 3 people in the back but I'm not sure if this will be the same case being a different model, my wheels just tuck under the guards perfectly so I'm free of that. just have a look and see if they line up under them if they stick out abit go for lows and lip the guards:)! goodluck with it man. hope it all goes well!.

Good looking car man ,like the rims i,ve got my 92 running on King springs with Monroe GT struts . Had to roll the rear gaurds back abit as tyres were rubbing just a little but otherwise they are fine now ,am thinking of getting eibach or pedders springs next as the kings are a bit soft for me.

Coil overs would be nice but they cost $$$$ other than that keep on with it ! :jamie:

yeh they are 17s mate. they rub when i have about 2 or 3 people in the back. not always do they scrub but on some turns and bumps they do. keen to fix it ;)

yeh wouldnt mind coilovers. but don't wanna spend that money on them for this car. so yours did rub too? yeh mine rub a bit sometimes too. how should i fix that?

ahh yeh nice rolla man. yeh mine scrubs occassionally with 2 or 3 people in the back. how should i resolve that? cheers
