Speed Sender

I've just swapped over from k40 to a k50 aka 5 speed and the speed sensor has a different terminal to it, my original 1 pushed in but the box had an external thread to screw onto. The new 5 speed I've just connect up with everything else being perfect is there is no thread on the sensor cable.

 

Any1 else had this problem and/or know how i can get around this I.E get a new cable and from and modify the old 1???

i do believe it is supposed to have the thread, maybe it has just worn out,

if you can't find ANY thread at all then try attaching it somehow because if it starts to fall off it might round off the speedo cable adapter thing then you will have to buy new cable

Sorry ignore this thread there was the missing shaft with the almost cog piece on, went down to the local u pull it and all sorted and running like a dream.
