rob83ke70 Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 hey just wondering if anyone is running LPG in your KE corolla, and if so, is your engine modified? Any thoughts on fitting say a 260 degree "maximum torque" camshaft on an lpg engine with minimum modifications? Robert. Quote
Evan G Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 i was thinking about turboing my next corolla on Straight Gas!, no ecus less f@$king around etc etc Quote
rob83ke70 Posted September 28, 2009 Author Report Posted September 28, 2009 I reckon straight lpg injected in a 12:1 na or something turbo would be rather interesting... Robert Quote
rob83ke70 Posted September 28, 2009 Author Report Posted September 28, 2009 I digress now, but I reckon I'd love to have a go at an orbital engine on LPG, something using a six stroke cycle, an electric ke corolla, or a compressed air powered ke corolla.... all interesting thoughts, probably unlikely to happen. Taz_Rx Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Loupee has a 5k turbo running gas only.... http://www.rollaclub.com/board/?showtopic=16635 :) Quote
philbey Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 I dunno what cam to run Rob, but It would pay to get a dynamic compression calculator and with some research you could work out how much more than a petrol engine you should be running. Compression = efficiency too. Let us know what you come up with. Quote
