Front And Back Parkers And Dash Illumination Not Working.

Hey I'm after a sparky to come look at my car and fix it up, I know its something small because they were working before and all went dead at the same time. Its a ae92 GTi hatch, checked all fuses and they are all good. Will pay in beer or cash :D

the dash could be as simple as the dimmer switch is fubar/disconnected. if connected, disconnect the plug from the back of the switch and bridge the connection and see if the dash lights work

 

parkers will be something different.

Found the dash lights and hooked that up to a temp switch but still no parkers, its weird because my headlights and brake lights work. just not the parkers anybody know how much i would be paying if i took it to an auto elecy?

I'm not sure if AE92's have a fuse box in the engine bay, but if it does, have you checked them fuses? (Usually next to the battery)

 

The same thing happened to me with my KE70, but only the blinkers and radio weren't working :D

Yeah checked that and replaced every relay in it aswell, really bugged what happened? Had a look under the dash and there are some cut wires that are coming from the fuse box not sure if thats the problem?
