hey pplz

before the flaming , ive looked around and ive found a few different responses .

my spaz mates have been playing around with my ignition timing , thinkin they know how 2 set it , now the car has no pull at all , and only way up top it has a strong pull , so I'm thinkin they advanced the shit outa of it . so i retarted it a lil and now running better , i just want to set it with the timing light properly , I'm running 98octane in her ,

what the standard stock 4age 16v run?

and how much more can i advance her to get a lil more power out of it safely?

i did post it up in another thread about 6-7 months ago.

 

Timing should be 10 degrees at idle with the TE1 and E1 terminals bridged, without the terminals bridged it should be 16 degrees at idle.
