Hey guys, i bought a second hand hilux and the auto in it was running smoothely up untill recently where it is a slow poke at gear timing and it rolls back on hills that are like nothing for it before? and when i go from drive to r or vice versa.. it bashes really hard. any suggestions

whats REALLY HARD? like jolts the whole car or nearly chirps?

lack of fluid would make it not select any gears

its like when you drop the clutch and it bashes hard... like u can rev it and it wont move, then all of a sudden it will put itself in gear and its so rough and feels terrible
I'd say lack of fluid, or wrong type of fluid in there...
