Yeah, i think my 32 / 36 Webber is a bit too much for the 4k, but ill tell how the webber goes on my HOT 5k.....

 

I'm going to get it rebuilt, and then mabe run it on the dyno and see how we fair up! :)

i can get a set of 45dcoe side drafts for $500.00

 

Fully rebuild, polished, new air cleaners......

45's are too big for a K motor.

But they are a great price.....

 

Maybe for a tough as 4age Carb feed! :)

come on you guys; i ran a 32/36 on daisy with her original 380,000 MI 3kc

she ran fine, got 32mpg and started every morning

the 4k was peppier, and i lost quite a bit 'o power by going efi

i think the carb is fine for a 4k

the cricket has a 32/36 dft and it goes like a raped ape wide open

it just diesels all the time

you must have been driving miss daisy, i used a whole tank of fuel in 3 hours when i first put my 32/36 on my stock 3k

3 hrs is all i get of constant driving....

no, really, it was the original, 10-69 3kc bigport with a tunnel adapter, '71 ke25 intake, 1 5/8 exhaust, stock muffler, 4.44 gears, 14" tires running 5,000 rpm all the time......i got 32 mpg
