I have just picked up an ef ford falcon futura with a set of 17's and a full set of pursuit wheels and tires, with a mini spool for the soon to be daily i just need to get it roadworthy rego'd, for roadworthy it needs headlights, taillights, and once it's rego'd it will cop a manual conversion which should hopefully be alot more fun with the mini spool already in the car so all this will be done in the 3 months i have no licence and i have all the manual conversion gear together just gotta pay 700 bucks for full manual conversion with a cushioned brass button clutch, custom lightened flywheel and pressure plate to suit, tailshaft, two gearboxes, and two headlights all for 700 bucks, i'll but some pics up once i find a computer with the internet connected and i shall upload some pics of it Cheers Justin

i have changed the dash in this from red and yellow painted gayness to stock base model GLI dash and painted a couple of things black in the dash like the stereo surround and clock surround for something different, fixed the low beam problem, it broke the water pump when i picked it up so i have also changed that now too so yeah

So the sat night special is ready for roadworthy now so after i get my licence back on monday it will be roady'd and hopefully money pending it will be rego'd and then i'll be coverting it to manual just for fun then putting it up for sale

Today i started the manual pedal box conversion i started pulling the auto pedal box out the car not a fun job at all. I only got to the point were the auto pedal box is nearly out of the car before i had to stop, due to weather not liking me at all

so today i got the manual pedal box into the car in about an hour and dash back together with the auto pedal back onto the car i figure coz i havn't got much money and i need a car to drive round i'll get the roady done then drive it round auto for awhile then get another job and get some money then convert it fully to manual :dance:

So quick update on the conversion, i got everything undone on the auto but one bolt and then it started to rain this afternoon just enough to warrent stop work and leave it till tomorrow, so tomorrow i'll be getting a clutch cable and spigot bearing for the manual then it will be put back together and hopefully running by this weekend :D

The conversion is done and runs like a dream so yeah it's now manual and all it needs now is roady and rego and it'll be fine

so abit of an update on the car, on the weekend just gone i picked up a full set of stock wheels and tires, a pair of overrated headlights, a bonnet and front bar.

 

unfortuneatly the bar and bonnet are grey

 

but yeah i changed the wheels around so now it's sitting on stock wheels all round :wink:
