Ke70 Wagon Diff

the diff on my corolla is astoundingly loud. I'm actually surprised it hasnt blown yet its just a matter of time.

the thing is i have no idea about diffs I'm just learning. i was told by a diff specialist itd cost 550 to get a diff and pinion recon and they have to be made up together? i was given a differential with my car so i don't see what it has to be done like that. my old man is looking at complete rear cradles including possibly buying a ke55 diff housing brake to brake.

people blow corolla diffs all the time right? whats the best way of doing ?

Personally, i'd get hold of a T18, AE86 T series or RA40 celica diff.

 

That way all u have to do is change the mounts to suit leaf springs and then you have access to a stronger diff, LSD's different ratios etc
