February 22, 201016 yr comment_416102 hey every body i got a real tricky problem with me corolla ke30 3k, everything is fine with the car it drives fine and idles fine, expect for when i need to reverse, as soon as i touch the accelartor in reverse the car just dies on me and i have no idea why. any ideas would be a great help to me. thanks every body Report
February 22, 201016 yr comment_416108 Manual or auto? How about the reverse lights short out and kill the ignition? Easy to unplug the wires from the gearbox and try it. Report
February 23, 201016 yr Author comment_416237 what happens when you plant it in reverse? it will idle for a minute or so in reverse and it does slowly move a little bit but then as soon as i touch reverse it dies on me Report

Easy to unplug the wires from the gearbox and try it. hey mate, its an auto. i don't think that it can be the reverse lights shorting because it will idle fine in reverse for a minute or so before it dies but at any point if i play with the accelerator it will die/ thanks anyway mate Report
