ca18ae71 Posted March 15, 2010 Report Posted March 15, 2010 hi guys, i pulled my motor down after the cam broke , i got another cam and started putting it back together , then realized i don't know the timing or the rocker order can anyone help Quote
philbey Posted March 15, 2010 Report Posted March 15, 2010 If you get a manual, you can get a diagram of how to align the crank sprocket and the cam sprocket when you fit the timing chain. Basically there's a dot marked on each pulley, you need them as far apart as you can get them, cam sprocket dot near the top, crank sprocket at the bottom. Then you fit the chain, i THINK there is an even number of links either side of the dots., That will get you in time crank-camshaft. Quote
TRD ke70 Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 at the bottom of the page and to the left are the timing marks for a 4k. Factory.pdf Quote
