Jesseb369 Posted May 17, 2010 Report Posted May 17, 2010 Are they the exact same? Mine in my Ae71 drivers seat are flogged out. Just wondering if i can change them to some tight ones with keeping the original seat. Quote
parrot Posted May 17, 2010 Report Posted May 17, 2010 (edited) Don't know the answer to your question, but if you have excessive movement when wobbling the seat and the seat frame seems OK, check the rear outside seat mount bracket that is welded to the floor closely. It is common for these to crack around the nut that you bolt the seat into. Bear in mind you need to take the seat out to see this, and even then, may need to look very carefully. 7shades Posted May 17, 2010 Report Posted May 17, 2010 Also of note... There are TWO TYPES of rails in the *E7* series. The ones with the fore/aft lever on the side, and the other style with the lever under the front. I *think* yours has the side lever type. Quote
Jesseb369 Posted May 17, 2010 Author Report Posted May 17, 2010 (edited) interzesting! I'm 90% sure mine has the front style. Coz i have a pic which ill post. as you can see there are no side adjusters. so...? Edited May 17, 2010 by Jesseb369 Quote
Ben-89 Posted May 17, 2010 Report Posted May 17, 2010 To clear this up all slanty front ke70's and ae71's had the adjuster lever at the front for the fore/aft position. Flat front ke70's had both levers on the side. And the seat and mechanism in youre car is original Jesse. Quote
