4afe Head On 4age Or 7afe Block

can anybody tell me if i can put a 4afe head on a 4age block or 7afe block what components of the 4age or 7afe block will i need and can i use most of the 4afe accessories etc

 

the head is ported polished and will be getting a hardwelded cam profile the same as the web cam on their site and 4age valve springs as of this weekend

Yes it can be done. But you'll need to use the 4af water pump, the bottom pulley for the 4af timing belt is two things off the top of me head i think there's a couple of other things as well. I'm pretty sure i've made a posting of using the "g" head on the "f" block in the "AExx Corolla Discussion" page somewhere. It'll be the same thing just opposite.

I see a lot of cost, time and effort for very little or no results. You could get 90% of the benefits of the 4AGE block by just getting higher-compression 4AFE pistons, which will also have the right flycuts on the crowns for the valves, and everything else will still bolt up as normal. Oil squirters/8-bolt flywheel aren't really needed unless you start chasing decent increases in power (and you won't get that from higher-compression pistons and a cam, especially if you don't have an ECU to support the cam)

righto where can i get high comp 4afe pistons and what comp 10.1

 

i was thinking of getting a piggyback ecu

 

or running twin carbies with a manifold from south africa as i have many webers,dellorto,solex i can get a hold off
