That technique to remove the ignition works on almost every car ever built.

Pretty much every lock has a hole somewhere on its outer case that allows access to the retaining pin.

If you would like to do a tech article, I will try to rustle up some photos and diagrams etc to add.

You can also add a PM link to the article so people can ask me questions if they get stuck.

I was a Locksmith for years and still enjoy the odd job from time to time!
