yea it does. used to work fr toyota on the ports of auckland and its the same stuff they use in porsches. can't be anything worse than melting smoking speaker wire hahaha, the days of being young and thinking itl be ok

i normally hook just the sub upto the amp and run 6' and 6x9s off head deck. then tune it so u get the bass from the sub, mid and high from headunit. 50x4 stereo will power the 4 sweet.

i had the same as you (old one and new one) and just plugged that 3rd hole up (in pic) and works fine.
