sorry about asking a commodore question here but most people have at least changed one of these stereo's.

 

i have just bought a pioneer cd player to replace the old crappy eurovox mmc-6616v unit that was in the car but i have found I have nothing to attached the new stereo to as there just a hugh hole in the dash, if anybody has any ideas please let me know.

nah if you google around with that model name, or look on the eurovox website and maybe call/email them, you should be able to find a place that provides aftermarket copies of the manual, so you can get the pinouts. they're usually around 20 bucks

AH... so you need a new fascia? What you're saying is that you don't have a mounting bracket? Or you have one and you can't fix it to anything?

figured it out ... had to drill extra holes in the OEM mounting brackets and then I bought a wiring adaptor from suparipoff auto all good all works....
