The front end is all AE92. No real need to go aftermarket especially with an asthmatic 4AFE dragging you around. If you really want to go all out look at an Otomotto or T3 coilover kit with the abovementioned KYBS or Konis etc if you want something higher end.

Ok finally solved the diff lock light,i knew the diff lock was working, but the light on the instruments didn't come on,well apparently when the clutch was last done one of the transmission connectors was left loose.

The starter motor was giving the odd no spin,i greased up the throw out solenoid and cleaned out all the carbon, but it think i will need a new one soon

Anyone selling a manual starter?

It looks the same as the ae82 except for the front housing.

The car just did 4000kM to Tasmania and back, fuel economy is better.

At one point on the trip it was hunting at idle up and down from 800 to 2000rpm,i disconnected the vacuum valves on the firewall one by one and indeed that isolated the problem.

But nothing could prepare me for two burst tyres in one 8 hour period.Bummer

Hot tip Yass has no tyre centre on sunday!!

In the past i always carry 2 full spares, but in this little car,no space.

So if anyone knows what alloy or steel wheel I can fit in either 14in or 15in that I can then buy 8ply light truck tyres for I would greatly appreciate it as this is not the first time tyres have let me down.

Truck tyres last heaps better on dirt.

I would like to put coil overs on it to go up a bit, but i don't think the price is worth it.
