What struts do you have in it now? Can you cut and weld? Budget? There's weld on coilover kits for XT130 or AE86 struts. Or you could buy complete units with stub axle. Here's a few links. The front end is all AE92. No real need to go aftermarket especially with an asthmatic 4AFE dragging you around. I'd hit Pick and Payless at Blacktown or any of the other big wreckers and measure one up. Bigger thermos on the stock one is a cheaper option too.

I stick my head in now and then to see what's going on but tbh it's the amount of shit content on the site that's put me off coming here daily like I used to. I'm another one that's started typing replies then ended up not bothering because I felt the advice would be ignored or it would just degenerate into a useless flame war. I generally hit New Posts on the forums I visit and go through and read what interests me. More often than not lately I struggle to find a thread or car on the first 5 pages that's worth reading about. I've been on a number of cruises and met a few good blokes off here. I've got nothing against dumb teenagers, we were all one once, but a bit of moderation wouldn't go astray. Not sure exactly what the situation is at the moment but I think the forum could only benefit from some more control over the content. Things like spelling and punctuation should be at least attempted, makes all the difference to the reader. Having shithouse threads removed daily would also be a good start. HTH

I think rebuilding the 4AFE is a waste of time and money and I've both rebuilt my 16v and done a 20v conversion. My 4AFE went to the scrapies when I pulled it out and it was still running fine. If you hunt around you should be able to find a 16v bigport for less than it would cost you to stuff around with the asthmatic 4AFE, and it will be better out of the box than what you're talking about. The FE designates that the head was designed for fuel economy. It's never going to be a performance motor unless you throw big dollars at it.

Do you have much experience with 16v motors Sam? Reckon it would be worth the time, effort and $$$ to do the 20v conversion over the rebuilt 16v that's in it atm? I've been trying to sell the 95 for a while without any luck :fuzz:
