Ke70 Front End Suspension

Featured Replies

hi have read soooo many posts on putting ae86 front struts into ke70 and now have less idea than before can any one help

i need to know what i have to do. If i get ae86 front struts what else do i have to change or do and how much it is expected to cost me lol

any advice would be great

thanks guys

you are lucky, i just fitted 86 gear to my ke70,

required:

ae86 struts

ae86 steering arms (bolt spacing is different apparnetly from ke70 to ae86)

you can use the rest of your ke70 stuff (control arms, castor arms, top hat)

though i *think* there is a difference between the ke70 and ae86 top hat in terms of the castor you get.

if you want a pair of stocko ae86 top hats i have a pair you can have for pretty cheap. (yes I'm trying to offload my junk! i have to much!!)

ae86 steering arms (bolt spacing is different apparnetly from ke70 to ae86)

:)

Try fitting the arms to the ke70 strut or the other way around...

It'll be, urm, rather difficult

also you will need ae86 hubs, discs, calipers with your struts. ke70 hubs, discs wont fit I'm quite sure.

xt130 corona struts are very similar and easier to find. maybe look into this if you have trouble finding complete ae86 struts.
